When someone reaches out to me for information, I am more than happy to answer a few questions.
When asked if I charge for an appraisal certain conditions apply.
Of course, when a lawyer contacts me and I appraise an estate, I receive monetary compensation.
When the average person contacts me with an inherited coin collection, I tell them giving me the opportunity to purchase some of the coins,I will waive the appraisal fee.
The people in my industry like myself, are appraisers not salesmen.We have studied for years and spent countless hours learning numismatics.
